The Pokémon master-set tracker
Pick a Pokémon. We build its complete master set — every printing, every variant. Mark what you own, print proxies for the rest. Your binder is never empty.
The thesis
A card you don't own
is a proxy —
never a hole
Your binder starts full. Every variant of your Pokémon lands as a greyscale, registration-marked placeholder the day you create it. Owning a card doesn't add it — it develops it into colour. Completion you can see across the room.
What Set Hunter does
Variant-level
tracking
Not "Growlithe: yes/no". First edition, shadowless, unlimited, holo, reverse, 4th print — every printing is its own target with its own pocket.
Printable
proxies
Every gap exports as a print-ready, honestly-marked placeholder. 9-up sheets, cut guides included.
Completion
you can feel
Per set, per Pokémon, per collection — and always the answer to "what's closest to done?"
Japanese sets — coming
WAITLIST OPENThe same colour-vs-proxy hunt, extended to every Japanese printing. Email only — first in line when it opens.
The loop
Pick a Pokémon
We assemble its complete master set — every variant lands as a greyscale target. The binder is full on day one.
Mark what you own
● Got develops the card into full colour. ◆ Want keeps it a proxy. ⊘ Skip hides it from the count.
Print the gaps
Proxy sheets for everything missing. Slot them in, and swap for the real card the day the hunt lands it.
From the founder
Five years deep into an Arcanine master set and still missing variants I'd never heard of. Got sick of it. Built this.
Pokémon has been my obsession since I was four. Coming back to it as an adult collector, I figured the tools would have caught up — turns out there's still no single place to see every print of a card, in order, with nothing missing. So I built it. This is a community project — if something looks off or a card isn't showing up, ping me.
